UPDATED! Lost Lab mix - Richmond, VA area

UPDATE: Paloma has been found. A runner found her in the park this morning and was able to read her tag. He said she was terrified, but he was able to lure her into his car until her owner could get there. She's back home now safe and sound!

Paloma, a super sweet black lab mix, 40 lbs, black all over with white chest and feet, escaped today from her brand new home in Richmond Virginia when a dog attacked her owner and brother dog during a walk. Her retractable leash is still attached to her. It is red, and she also had a pink harness and pink paisley collar. She has a tag with her owner's info on it, but she is very skittish, so she probably will not let anyone get near her. Do not chase her, but rather try to lure her to you.

She was last seen around Carillon about 1130a.m. this morning. Please help us bring this sweet girl back home. She is friendly just scared.

Lost/Stolen Pekingese Atlanta, GA - Buckhead area

SADIE (knows her name)
Pekingese, 9 years old

Last seen: tied up outside the Buckhead Marshall's store on Monday, April 27th.

Special Needs: Ulcerated left eye & possible IBS. VERY SKINNY.

E-Mail - augartist@gmail.com

Sadie was last seen tied up in the shade outside the Buckhead Marshall's store, Monday April 27, 2009. We had just been to the vet for blood work, and when I came out she was gone.

She was bitten by a dog in her eye, about six months ago, so she has an ulcer (hole) in her left eye with a lot of light blue scar tissue. She's been seeing Dr. Powell, the Zoo's ophthalmologist for that.

She also has some intestinal issues which have made her unable to absorb the nutrients in her food, causing her to lose weight. She's gone from 11 lbs down to a little over 8lbs in about four months, and looks completely emaciated even though she eats three times what she's supposed to, daily.

Sadie has been on several medications not only for her eye, but also for her intestinal issues: Gentamicin & Flurbiprofen (for her eye) and Metronidaz for her gastrointestinal issues. She also has an ear infection and had been on medication for that, so the hair around her ears is greasy.

I found Sadie on the freeway in 2001, and she's my best friend. I'm hoping that someone may have "rescued" her thinking she was being abused, and has turned her in to a shelter. She's not being neglected, just very sick and old. I've probably spent close to 3k on her in the last six months. My vet has records that can be verified.

Lost Dog - Sharpsburg, GA (30277)

Blaze was lost initially on April 26th in Sharpsburg on Marion Beavers Rd., and this road sits in the middle of Hwy 54, Hwy 154, Hwy 16 and Poplar Rd. He could be anywhere by now, and he is afraid of thunderstorms, so it is feared that he will just keep running.

He was wearing a collar but not his normal collar (and depending on where he is traveling who knows if it is even still on at this point) He was not wearing tags, nor is he chipped.

He was last seen near a body of water (pond/lake) in Coweta County, Georgia on May 1, 2009. He is very gentle but timid and may not come to you. Shelters have been checked, ads placed, and signs hung and then some. There is a reward for any one who can help me get him home, please crosspost to everyone you know who lives or goes into the area.

Any info please call, no matter what time or day or night.

Lost Jack Russell Dog/Chihuhua Mix Lilburn, GA area 30047

This dog slipped out of the house Friday evening 4/10/09 during the storm, and she has not been found. She has never spent the evening out, and we are fearing the worse. She is from the Mountain Park area of Lilburn, near Rockbrige Rd. and Garner Rd. She had just been bathed, so she did not have her collar with i.d. tag, nor does she have a microchip.
